Detailed Description

Every website has different needs. While some websites integrate
expensive Content Management Systems, others are content with having
a simple Weblog or Blog. We recognized this and realized that not
every website owner is interested in installing, programming and
configuring the templates of today's Weblog software.

With the XWebBlog Web Service, you no longer have to rely on
templates to integrate a Weblog or Blog into your website. By simply
consuming the Web Service for your data needs, you now have the
freedom to keep the look and feel of your website, customizing each
page the way you want, not the way others thought was best suited
for you!

The XWebBlog Web Service provides data storage and data access layer
functionality for storing and retrieving Weblog or Blog entries. It
greatly reduces application hosting fees, it eliminates the cost of
maintaining a database, while providing all the necessary XML Blog
or Weblog Software API functionality for a low, flat, monthly fee
through a well-established, well-adopted standard of exchanging
information - Web Services.

Make the XWebBlog Web Service part of your Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA) web Content Management System (Web CMS) today!

Some of the features include:
1. WS-* Standards - authentication and authorization are being
enforced through the WS-Security Username Token industry standard.
Client applications have the option of passing the credentials
either as Digest or Plain Text.

2. Two Distinctive Versions - clients have the option of consuming
two distinctive versions of the Web Service featuring:
- Authentication / Authorization: WS-Security for Version 2 and SOAP
Headers for Version 1
- Request / Response: Complex Types for Version 2 and Primitive
Types (Version 1)

3. Hosted & Managed Data Storage - no need to lease/own a data
storage solution of any kind; dynamic data without the need for a
Database Engineer.

4. Administrative/Publishing Functionality Provided - as with all
Web Services offered by XWebServices, Inc., an online administrative
tool is provided free of charge with registration. The
administrative tool for the XWebBlog Web Service provides all data
manipulation functionality required to add, update and delete weblog
or blog entries using a WYSIWYG editor with word processor-like
formatting features.

5. Retrieve Only What You Need - the Web Service's SOAP Methods
return a specific Blog Entry, all Weblog Entries and Blog Entries
posted within a specific date range; "pagination" of the results on
the server side is also provided. Pagination is the ability to
return a specific number of records at a time, similar to how search
engines display results (i.e. Google's 10 search results per page).

The XWebBlog Web Service features a 30 day free trial
period. Keeping our promise to deliver SOA Solutions via XML/SOAP
